Brandied Fruit Topping Recipe

“It’s a fruity delightful topping which may serve over ice cream!”

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup mandarin oranges
1 cup pitted prunes
3/4 cup white sugar
water to cover
1 (15 ounce) can sliced peaches, chopped
1 (15 ounce) can pineapple chunks
3/4 cup brandy
DIRECTIONS

* Combine raisins, mandarin oranges, prunes, sugar and water to cover in a large saucepan.
* Simmer over medium heat until syrupy, about 10 minutes.
* Stir in peaches, pineapple and brandy.
* Store in refrigerator.
